**Peeking my head out from under the rock...**

I am surprised I still know how to get to this home away from home!  It has been SO long!  And that isn't just one of those niceties (sp?) you say when you haven't seen someone in a long time (and can't remember their name)!  You know you haven't been blogging in a long time when it hasn't saved in your cache (and automatically populates your browser field) and when you have to sign on with password and everything (which isn't the case if you are a daily...weekly...or bi-weekly enter-er)!

Obviously I somehow cranked that one brain cell to remind me of my password - whew!

Yes, I should be sleeping.  I have a teething 11 month old who napped on me way late in the day (4:30 PM - 6 PM) so she just went down at 10:30.  Eek!!!  With our usual two (or more) wake up calls, I am surprised I am able to tell my fingers what to do at 11 PM at night!  Granted I dosed her down for her teething symptoms - Acetiminphen (sp?) for her pain and aches (aches and pain???), teething tablets for her surface gums, Vick's Baby Rub for her runny nose & congestion.  But that girl has battery power that could fuel the earth in a black out!!  I am betting on a 1 - 2 AM wake up call from my sweet boss lady.

But here I am.

It has been so long, my friends.  I think, since the last I posted, H is crawling (now almost walking), I did my huge Wells Fargo event (a success - thank you...haha!), my reunion - so INCREDIBLE to see my old classmates (and I don't mean old as age), H's first Halloween, H's first Thanksgiving and H's first experience with a Christmas tree!!  Ummmmm, can you tell that H has been my A1A prority lately?  Whew!!

Beyond all that, I still have a cat that pukes daily, a dog that stinks by the minute and a house that is constant maintenance.  I have a husband about to buy an RV, a baby about to pop 20 teeth and a step-daughter who has a more interesting social life than this 38 year old.  I have a tree up, decorations still to be put out, a loud dishwasher, a dream of a play room upstairs and a bed that needs to be burned as fire wood and another bed bought.

Can you relate?

But here I am, back again.  You can keep me occupied but you can't keep me away (what the hell was that noise in the dishwasher??).  I sit here looking at our Christmas tree that we put up in a new location in the dining room (love it!) - half decorated but beautiful nonetheless - and remember how uncomfortably pregnant I was the last time I put it up and how FREAKED OUT I was that there would be a BABY at our feet the next time we put it up - how does THAT happen?  It does.  And it was awesome.  I can't believe what a year can do.

Thank you for following - if you still are...I know I took a longer than allowed hiatus but I am back and gonna try to stay here as much as possible.  I mean, this entry took 11 minutes!  That's nothing...other than 11 minutes I haven't slept while H IS sleeping!

Goodnight all!  Much love!
