The Housewife's Brood

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

I am so thankful for my sister-in-law, Erin.  She came over to distract H while I caught up on this work project as well as some house chores.  Although I feel like I am coming down with some sort of head cold/sore throat, I tried to bust it out the best I could & still remain standing long enough to finish out H's evening.

I was able to get pretty well caught up on my work and actually cleaned our master bath.  Wow that feels good to both do and say!  I vacuumed, dusted, swept and mopped the kitchen and did a couple of loads of laundry.  All in all, a very productive day (oh, and this is in addition to H and I's regular morning routine of our walk & gym time).

H sat in the Target cart with our new cart cover today.  First of all, I am going to HAVE to do a review for this cart cover...it is amazing!  It is SO padded and comfy...if only I could ride in it!  There is a pillow that spans the width of the cart but I used it to prop H on one side.  It has pockets for your wallet, phone, etc & all sorts of attachments and bands on the inside for toys, drinks, etc.  I will definitely write a review & maybe I will be able to do a giveaway!

Here is my H sportin' her new ride!

I had a great friend come over last night to hang out.  I felt bad because I had to do my usual H evening routine followed by the new "wake up an hour later to eat" habit.  But she was very understanding and we had a GREAT time catching up.  Next time, we are meeting OUT & I better be meeting her new hunk!

I am going to cut this entry short.  I am starting to feel pretty achy so I may call it a night early so that I can be fresh and ready for DAY 3 of H and I's new routine!  Ready for another gym journey!

Don't forget to check out my diet/exercise journey if you dare!

Product review soon and I still want to do a list of TRUTHS for new mommas!  Coming soon to a lame blog near you!

Fancy things like the cart cover makes me think I had my kids too early! There was nothing like that when mine were babies....just had to prop them up with a blanket draped over my purse when they passed out!
