I have recently added to my friend list on this blog and thought it might be fun to give a few random facts about myself. Why don't you leave me a comment and do the same? Let's start with 10 random facts...
1. As organized as I like to think that I am, I am certainly a procrastinator! Don't be surprised if the ink isn't still wet on the birthday card I bring to the party. It's not a sign of me not caring...it is a sign of my lost track of time.
2. If I laugh really hard or get too tickled about something, my thumbs go numb.
3. On my left foot I can "give the toe," as T calls it...I can curl all toes down other than the middle. I can also separate my pinky toe from the rest of the toes - on both feet.
4. I could totally be (and might as well be) a vegetarian. I don't like meat that much (other than the occasional craving for a burger...which then makes me sick) but I definitely can't eat it if I had to deal with it before it was cooked. Especially chicken.
5. I am a total beer snob and can only enjoy beers that are darker in color and smooth in taste.
6. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE football season...GO STEELERS!
7. I have a college degree (major in Communications, minor in Political Science from University of Louisville), had my own business and made over a hundred thousand dollars but am now a stay at home wife/mom. I am excited to be working an event for a large banking institution this year. A little extra income!
8. My secret indulgence that I don't do often but thoroughly enjoy when I do? Taco Bell
9. I love going to the beach but I am freaked out about going in the ocean - I was stung by something in my late teens that has prevented me from getting back in again.
10. At 38 years old I am fortunate to still have all of my grandparents!

Okay..i'll play! 1] as a child in southern Kentucky, i spent a lot of time playing on or with sandstone..its still my favorite stone. 2) my favorite movies are westerns. 3)i love to write tunes or most anything else but my spelling is her..ah-h..rend..da..ass! 4) i totally love guitars..the feel of wood and steel and the shapes and the rattle and buzz...well, the rattle and buzz probably is my fault! 5) i didn't get my drivers licsense (how 'bout that spelling) til i was twenty-one...but i passed the test with a hundred score. 6) i love the tropics and the ocean also (you were born in them), but then they made the movie "JAWS"...not so quick in the water anymore. 7) i can't give the "toe", but it might be that you can because i have such crazy toes. My last toe or little toes on both feet hide under the others..i've always been self-conci (oh, forget it)..... 8) i still have a friend for over fifty years i grew up with ..we played together as kids and played together as band-mates, he was in viet nam the same time i was and we still see each other now-days. 9) we had a little dog once that we loved so much we spent thousands of dollars on to prolong his life and he was worth every penny...we haven't been able to bring ourselves to the point where we can get another one yet after over ten years. 10) and finally....in my mind i'm still younger than my years. I've always been a kid....well,now i'm a grandpa kid..what a trip! I'm love'n it!!!! L/DAD

1. I wear flip flops all the time, everywhere- even in the winter.
2. I had 235 unexcused absences my senior yr of high school. (it was fun then, but quite embarrassing now)
3. My first kiss ended up being gay
4. I am also a procrastinator and usually sign the birthday card at the actual party.
5. I love to swim- butterfly is my favorite stroke.
6. I used to teach fitness classes
7. I am new to blogging and have no clue what I am doing but I love it
8. Gin and Tonic is my favorite cocktail
9. I would have 7 kids if I had the money to do so.
