Update extraordinaire

What a weekend! It was busy, fun and relaxing! I know it doesn't sound like those words should go together but they do! My Mom was in town and Tay was with us which resulted in a wonderful visit! Well, other than Sunday when my Mom, T's Mom, T and I went to Cracker Barrel for brunch. My Mom became very ill after that meal and I became very ill later that night which I now contribute to the brunch at CB. I think that may be my last time there for a while!

There isn't much to update on at this time. But I thought some pics of my garden would be a good place to go. I am very excited on the progress. I need to do some thinning (I started on my radishes but didn't finish) but things seem very happy! Take a look:

Radishes mixed with carrots - one row I have thinned the other I still need to do

Another pic - the third row is carrots only

Sweet onions - I have to wait until all of the green limp over and turn brown before it is harvest time. Don't they look pretty?

Herbs trying their best to hang in there - I don't know what I am doing wrong to keep them from growing more...and some of their leaves are white'ish. If you have any ideas, please comment...

I am going to add a recipe to my other blog "The Dirty Details" in case you are interested. I have made this many times before and have been asked for the recipe several times. Check it out when you are done here! It is Hot Wing Pizza.

Hopefully this week will lend itself to being more interesting and blog-worthy. Stay tuned to see what adventures I end up finding!
