We're Baaackkk...

Hi all! T and I are back from our Australia paradise. We had so much fun...I don't know where to begin. Luckily, I kept track daily with entries - almost like to a diary - so that I could both post them on my blog to share as well as to include in the much anticipated scrapbook sessions!

I have been struggling with how to post the entries but I think I am going to post them individually from the earliest entry being after this one (entry 1). This is opposite from how blogger.com usually posts but I think it will make the most sense when reading them. The later blogs have pics and I will be sure to get pics on the earlier ones as well. It just takes a lot of time and I need to move on with some chores today. I promise pics though and will get them up ASAP.

Our trip home a couple of days ago (Wednesday for US, Thursday for AUS) was long but uneventful. For some reason I was a little nerved on the Qantas flight but had some adult bevs to help me through. We were in business class this time - our seats were on the second level of the plane. Wow, it sure was high up there! But the seats were great, still folded out and we were still pampered with all the food and drinks you can stand. It was like first class without the down comforter.

We arrived in Los Angeles at 6 AM PST and had the monotonous chore of going through customs, checking in and going through security. It actually went pretty smooth all in all. We took a United flight back to Tucson where a town car picked us up and brought us home. It was so great to see the house. When we walked in it was a little surreal. Everything felt bigger or something. I don't really know how to explain it.

Of course our first order of business was to get and give some MAJOR love to our babies!! They were so happy to see us. Even Jazzy, who is usually very stand off'ish when I leave her for a week or two, was all over me all night. T and I pretty much hit the couch and, other than a shower and a visit from Steph, Jim, Lauren and Ryan (they brought dinner too), we really didn't move much.

We napped a little off and on and decided to head to bed around 10:30 PM. Once in bed we couldn't get back to sleep so we watched some TV. Finally we were out - and boy were we. I slept like a log and didn't open my eyes until 8:50, which is late for me. Now that I am up, I want to get my entries on here before the days go by and I don't do it. No better time than now. Afterwards, I will probably take a shower and head to the grocery. We have absolutely nothing in the house to eat so it is a must - even though I am sorta dreading it. Then we get Tay tonight. I am really looking forward to seeing her. We have both missed her so much.

Happy reading...
