Bon Voyage!

Well, my adoring fans, we are off on the adventure of a lifetime. Australia here we come!

We got all packed up last night other than those frustrating little items that you have to use while you get ready before you head out. In typical girl fashion, my suitcase was over flowing and had to be divided into a separate duffle. Oh well - my philosophy is that I would rather have more than I need than to not have enough. T was able to fit all of his clothes into one suitcase but it sure is heavy - he may need to share my duffel! But seriously, how do you pack for 2-1/2 weeks?? I don't want to be doing laundry on my honeymoon to Australia!!

Our next steps today are to 1) write a tip sheet for Sue the Nunn Better lady, 2) take showers and get those last minute items in the suitcase, 3) change the sheets on the bed for Sue, 4) start the dishwasher and put those dishes away, 5) love on our babies all that we can before we go, 6) last minute poop scoop in backyard. We have a town car picking us up at about 1 or 1:15 to take us to Phoenix. How about that?? Before you think that we are acting like cocky celebrities - it is actually more cost effective than driving when you take into account gas and parking. Ok...so we are acting like cocky celebrities (did I mention we are flying first class today?? Haha).

Our flight to San Francisco departs around 5 this evening followed by the Qantas flight at 10:30 PM. This will likely be my only post today. However, the plan (if internet works as we expect it to) is to post every evening on our trip to both update you as well as to keep a log for us. I can't guarantee they will be long posts but I do hope to add pics and videos when I can. I sure hope it works because I really would rather keep a log in one place and I most certainly would rather type it!

Well, off to my next chore. I am going to get the letter/tip sheet written for Sue. I want to be sure to have her watch the babies close, especially Jazzy - she hasn't been eating her snack (which has always been her favorite time of the day) which worries me a little. But I will worry about them the whole time so no surprise there. I also want to get cleaned up soon so that I can get my last Circle K ice tea. Wow I need that caffeine right about now!

Oh, and for anyone playing along, I decided to take a pregnancy test this morning to be sure that I'm not baking anything in there. I wasn't late or anything but I wanted to be sure before I enjoyed that adult bev on the plane. Of course I wanted it to be neg until I get back from Australia - I mean, who really wants to be pg on their honeymoon?? Ok, well, not me. It was, indeed, neg! So play ball!! After this trip we are good with it whenever! So I am excited to experience first class at its finest without worrying about having a baby with three heads!

Ok all! I am very excited (and nervous, and worried) and I look forward to filling you in as we go. Love to you all and keep tuning in for some crazy and fun adventures!!
